Non profit - Or charity?
Coalition for Kids International is a non profit organization as it believes that healthy North American teens and youth deserve support, encouragement and opportunity, not charity. However, Coalitions for Kids International's sister organization in Poland, Fundacja Dziecieca Fantazja (FDF-"Children's Fantasies Fulfilled"), is a registered charity dedicating its resources to terminally-ill children - and it was one of the first Foundations to be registered as a charity under the Public Benefit Activity and Voluntary Assistance Act.
