“Let me express my gratitude for the opportunity to have our residents be a part of the Miles of Smiles program, many positive comments have come forward both from staff and residents”
Rick Kelly, Northwood President & CEO

“The seniors are now participating in the Miles of Smiles program. Coalition for Kids has given Chebucto Links, through their programs, the ability to bring small pockets of seniors together and make them feel comfortable and safe while enjoying these outings. We have been given the avenue to offer new experiences to the participants and it has proven to be very rewarding. The participants have met new friends and are still talking about the fun and laughter that they have shared”
Joy McKay, Program Director, Chebucto Links

“It was the best day of their lives!”
Carol Atkinson, Dartmouth Seniors’ Service Centre

“It was a wonderful trip. If you enjoy life you will enjoy twice as much the ride in the Bentley. The Bentley, it is only for royalty but I got a once in a lifetime chance to drive in it. It was remarkable. What a smooth ride and you don’t even hear the engine”
    Zina Andersons (96 years young)

“Thank you for a wonderful day and a fantastic lunch. I will always remember your kindness and appreciate your love for Seniors. A big thank you to all who are involved in Coalition for Kids and may God bless each and everyone"
    Lillian Kai
